This week brought more fun classes with Zlatka and visits with friends at playgroup. Then we enjoyed the first 80-degree afternoon at the park with Sarah and Olivia on Friday! Maeve had her last Itsy Bitsy Yoga class today (Daddy came too!) and then we had a yummy lunch with our friends Gwen, Nikki and Mark. 

Accomplishments this week include putting her shoes on the correct feet and saying “more high” while being pushed in the swing. Our 19-month-old also can walk down the stairs holding our hand, and loves running up and down the hall saying “ready, set, go!” There are fun park pictures and ones from our family visits last weekend in the gallery…

Well, Grandparents Day is this weekend and Maeve couldn’t be more excited! She will get to see all of her grandparents this weekend because tomorrow after playgroup we are off to Grandma’s house where we will see Auntie Beth and Uncle Matt too! Then Nanna and Grandad will come to our house to visit at the beginning of the week on their roadtrip…

Maeve started singing this week and said Zlatka’s name! She also enjoyed her classes at Independence Park and music with Miss Julie. Hope you have a great weekend!

We just returned from the tropics and really enjoyed the sunshine and warmth! Sadly, it is 35 degrees and rainy here in Chicago this weekend. But we had such a great time at the Wyndham in St. Thomas – we were totally disconnected from technology for a few days and our biggest decision each day was whether to go to the beach or the pool! Mommy celebrated her birthday and Maeve made some new friends as some of Daddy’s colleagues brought their children (all 4 and under) on the trip too. She loved running around poolside, building sand castles at the beach, and her new favorite phrase became “push button” for the elevator. All the new photos are posted in the gallery!
