We are fresh off a whirlwind trip to MI for my best friend’s wedding sequel (her first celebration was in Mexico City) and we had a nice visit with Nanna and Grandad while we were there. April’s parties were so much fun and Maeve was fast friends with April’s niece Kate, as you can see from the wedding pictures. We had a great morning today at the park because we got to see so many of Maeve’s friends – Gwen, Olivia, Theo and Mia all were there! We also made a new friend named Lily who will be joining our music class with Ms. Tisa. Classes start on Thursday so we are looking forward to that! We also are preparing for a black tie affair on Friday night, a visit from Grandma this weekend, and a mini-vacation to Marquette next week where we hope to meet up with Nanna and Grandad on their boat.
Maeve continues to become her own independent person. She is expressing her opinions about what she would like to do, what books she would like to read before sleep (Napping House is the current fav and Goodnight Moon is out!), and she is talking about what she likes and dislikes. Her full sentence this weekend was “I like Cheerios” while she was eating them. We are so impressed with all she can communicate!
