Today is Nanna and Grandad’s 41st wedding anniversary! We are looking forward to celebrating with them next week, although Maeve is still working on saying Happy Anniversary. She keeps saying Happy Birthday…
We started Maeve’s soccer class this morning – she did an excellent job kicking the ball, but wasn’t as enthusiastic about the running drills. She enjoyed the bubbles and shaking the parachute – and she even scored a goal! The funniest thing is that it’s in a gymnasium with basketball hoops, so she tried several times to throw the soccer ball up to make a basket. Maybe we picked the wrong sport? The best part is the new uniform though, as seen below!
What a cutie Maeve is! I can’t believe she’s old enough to take a soccer class already. Wow. And sky blue is definitely her color.
I miss you! We will definitely have to get together soon. We’re out of town the next couple of weekends, but maybe after that? I have to see Maeve in person!
