We had a fun week to close out July with more swimming, trips to the Brookfield and Lincoln Park Zoos, and Maeve even won her very first raffle – a free book from our local library! She picked a boardbook entitled “Eco Babies Wear Green,” which Daddy particularly liked. Aunt Peggy was passing through town, so it was a highlight to see her and Aunt Katie this week too!
Maeve’s new phrase is “me too!” which is simply priceless. She loves riding on the carousels at the zoos and running through the sprinkler – either in our yard or at the park. I got some new pictures posted and will continue to make attempts to get videos up. This coming week I will be consumed with excitement about the Olympics though, so I might not be able to focus on anything but that!

Love the new pictures. You are having a very busy summer full of wonderful activites with all of your friends. We have been eating gelato(mostly chocolate)and we did ride in a gondola. Our trip has been ‘just gr… eat’! Can’t wait to get home and see you.
