For the past few days, Maeve has attempted a few steps towards us while leaning forward and sort of falling into our arms – close, but we could not count this as officially walking…until yesterday! Maeve took more than 10 steps between us walking towards Daddy. We are so proud of her!!! We are not as thrilled about the climbing up the stairs, but it is another accomplishment none-the-less. In other exciting news, congratulations are in order as Auntie Beth and Uncle Matt became engaged on Columbus Day!

I love the sounds she makes as she is climbing the stairs!!! She is so into it and enthralled with her sense of new power. This girl is going places and she is already very focused on reaching her goal. The stairs are just the beginning of her reaching out and embracing life. What a zest she has! It makes her fans observing her feel such joy.
