We are so proud of Maeve – she saved all the change from her piggy bank this summer to become a Change Maker! She donated all of it ($51.12!) today to Eric & Kathy’s 10th Annual 36-Hour Radiothon for Children’s Memorial Hospital. We feel so fortunate that Maeve is healthy and we have not had to go to Children’s…but we could not be more thankful to know that it is there. We support the Radiothon every year (airing now through Saturday at 6 p.m.) because the stories are both inspiring and heartbreaking. Children’s Memorial Hospital never turns a family away when their child needs service and the doctors conduct research that will hopefully prevent life-threatening illnesses and save children’s lives.
