Apologies to the grandparents, but we had to go with popular opinion on one of our favorites – the monkey pic (#2) has been submitted to the Babytalk magazine cover contest. Thank you to everyone who voted! The rules say that the semi-finalists will be chosen “based equally on the personality and charm of photo subjects as conveyed by their photo.” We should be notified by May 31 if Maeve is chosen as one of the eight semi-finalists. FYI – there are so many wonderful photos of Maeve and we love the one up top as well, but the photo had to be taken within one month of submission and we snapped that one back in February in Florida so it didn’t qualify…
Although they are all adorable, I think number 2 is my favorite. Give a kiss to the “covergirl” for me! 🙂

I love love love number one but as auntie Beth pointed out it might be too “common” (although there’s nothing common bout Maeve) and number 2 shows her vibrant personality. So, number 2 it is! Love….
Nope, I’ve got to go back to number 1. Her beautiful green grey blue eyes show up so well–truly unusual and fabulous!
